Food

Ok well you asked for it. I am giving you pictures of the food that I made the other day. It was the birthday of one of my friends from work. She wanted Italian so I looked up a recipe in my Giada cook book. These looked the best to me. 

We started with a salad. I think that it was called Spinach Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette. The salad was ok. I didn't love it or anything.

Then we ate Baked Penne with Roasted Vegetables. It was pretty delicious. The smoked mozzarella made all of the difference in it. 

Ok then we also had pizza. Really only for one reason and that is because we had left over dough. Jeff has become a master at making pizza and it is always so delicious. Well he made the dough but I made this pizza and it wasn't as good. It was just a margarita pizza but it was decent I suppose. I used some of the smoke mozzarella on it and that was good. 

I can pass on the recipes if you would like but I am feeling too lazy to put them on here right now. I just found a link for the pasta So I did something a little crazy today. I went to the community college an signed up for photography class. It is only for the month of june so it is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to9:30. That is a lot of time but I think it will be good. It will push me to use my camera more and learn how to use it. Ok I also want to give you some music so I will have to post that later. Good stuff.

Live Long and Prosper

I LOVED the movie we saw! I thought that the "imax" was kinda lame, but it was still super duper fun! I was sad today when I realized you probably left LV without even telling me bye. :( But I'll forgive you for 2 reasons... 1) You will someday be a mother and it is mother's day today 2) You are are a really great friend for coming to my graduation and then out to lunch with us. That was just so NICE of you!! Oh, I love the picture you posted on here. You are quick at that! That was less than 2 days ago. You're the best! Ok, I have to go to bed now. Since I have tons to do now that I have no job and no school, it's hard for me to stay up late anymore.

If only these weren't on such inconvienient days of the week!! But do you think maybe we should try to make one of them happen? I really want to see Andrew Bird. I love him right now. And I know you like the Ra Ra's. I like them too... But I also LOVE T&S and would see them at any opportunity I get... and remember how fun it was to see The New Pornographers at Sasquatch? Yeah, me too!

Maybe we should see both...?

Kim, what did you decide on the scootie? I liked the burnt orange color so much I just painted our kitchen that color. And I love it! LOVE IT!

A little help

Ok so I needs some help with color. These are the three I think I am choosing from. Now you have to keep in mind that the sides and the front fender will still be chromed. So you need to also pick something that will look good with the chrome. Let me know what you think because I really need some help. You know how I am with decision. 

The Presidents Dog

I saw this article today about the president getting a new dog. Well I saw the picture and that dog looks really familiar. Don't ya think? It is portuguese water dog or something but I think they are wrong. We have a good friend who looks like that and he is not that kind of dog.

Also, why have you been ignoring me for so long? Are we still friends? I will be down this weekend if you want to hang out.

Ok I think that I might have figured this out. I spent forever trying to get the links in this post. So here is some of the music I wanted to share with you. Both are pretty mellow but you know I dig that kind of stuff. The first is Jose Gonzalez The song I really love is Heartbeats but it is all pretty good stuff.
The next is Slow Runner. You need to first listen to Trying to Put your heart back together and Love and Doubt. Sooo good. Ok I think that might be all for now. Get these while the getting is good. Download them so you can listen on your trip. How was Disneyland?

Broadway

So I think I told you that Meg and I went to go see Chicago in NYC. Well we didn't have a ton of options because we went on Monday and that is the dark day for most plays. I wish we could have know because we could have gone to see this.  Do you recognize that person? It would have been awesome but....oh well. Although I don't love guys and dolls, remember.
